We were so excited to find [The School Of Dance] . Not only does director and teacher Kristen Dennis have an excellent ballet pedigree (National Ballet School and Company etc. etc.) she is also a fabulous teacher – particularly of children. Children get a strong foundation in technique but they also learn to enjoy dancing with creative time in each class and also several performance opportunities on real stages. MM Camps are fun for the kids, with a wide variety of activities with impressive teachers (e.g. art taught by an OCAD grad). Movie Nights are fun for kids and give the adults a chance to have a “date night”! I can’t say enough good things about [The School of Dance]!

My daughter has been with [The School Of Dance] for almost 3 years. I feel it has given her confidence in performing and being in front of an audience. It is very well organized and Kristen the creator gives it her all and is so patient as a teacher. The girls really look up to her and I think she’s a great role model to have. It’s a terrific program if you are looking for a structured group lesson that requires attention and concentration. The Friday movie nights that are offered are fantastic as well. Would highly recommend it.

One of the East side’s best kept secrets! The teachers love what they do and it shows. For a trail run, check out their movie night events (dance lesson, dinner & a movie) which allows enough time for parents to have a date night. The summer camps are also wonderful and my 3 & 6 year old adore the diverse and active range of activities. And for more professional experiences, sign up for dance lessons (kids and adults). All skill levels and ages are embraced and the teachers are positive and fabulous!
